Wii Fit U was co-developed by Nintendo and Ganbarion, released in 2013. It recieved various updates that added more Fit Meter content, but no new Miis were distributed in these updates. A free demo was released on the Wii U's eShop, which users could download and play for 30 days free if they had a Wii Balance Board. After the 30 day demo, users would either have to purchase the full game, or connect a Fit Meter accessory to turn their free demo into the full game. Wii Fit U has many Miis used for one-time roles, and is noteable for being the only game which has both the Wii Miis (from Wii Sports, unfortunately missing the 40 introduced in Wii Sports Resort) and the 2012 Miis all in one game. Despite the game sometimes removing content from Wii Fit Plus in some areas, most, if not, all content cut from Wii Fit Plus is still present in the files, unused - and that includes its Miis.
