Wii Sports Resort released in June 2009, taking the Wii Fit Island from Wii Fit, upgrading it, and renaming it to Wuhu Island - the island's most prominent appearance. It's a sequel to Wii Sports that features 12 sports and even more modes within those sports, offering the most content out of any game in the Wii Sports series. The game brought back the 60 Miis from Wii Sports, but now with 40 new Miis who would become part of the cast as CPU opponents and background characters. These 40 Miis would go on to appear in most future games that the Wii Sports Miis appear in, totalling 100 Miis. Wii Party released in July 2010 and was developed by NDcube, who also develops the Mario Party titles. These same 100 Miis from Wii Sports Resort return as CPU opponents and background characters, too. Wii Play: Motion released in June 2011 as a sequel to Wii Play taking advantage of the Wii MotionPlus accessory. The games in Wii Play: Motion were all developed by different developers: Nintendo, Arzest, Chunsoft, Good-Feel, Mitchell Corporation, NDcube, Prope, Skip Ltd., and Vanpool all serve as various developers for the game. All three of these games feature the same Miis in them, so their pages have been unified under the Wii Sports Resort page.
