Miitopia: the RPG where the player decides the characters, released in December 2016. All Miis can be chosen by the player to fill in that role in the story. One could also share specialized Miitopia QR codes which contains extra information like job, weapon, armor, catchphrase, and more. Miitopia also supported Tomodachi Life's specialized QR codes. The 2012 Miis are here, too, and when SpotPass is turned off (thus disallowing Mii Central to automatically fill in minor roles with randomly chosen Miis by other players), minor roles in the game would be filled in with them instead, randomly. However, in doing so, it had to organize the Miis by gender age group, giving us official age groups for the 2012 Miis. The game also has a few unused Miis, too. The 2012 Miis and these unused Miis are all still present in the May 2021 port of the game onto the Nintendo Switch, just with additional Miis, as all roles in the game were given official default Miis.
