3DS Miis

The 3DS system released in February 2011. Miis are a larger part of the system's identity, even more than the Wii, with a user Mii being required to use the system. StreetPass Mii Plaza was also an important preinstalled application, too, which heavily featured Miis. The 3DS supports the Wii-format (for transferring Miis from a Wii's Mii Channel to the 3DS's Mii Maker), and also introduces the ver3 format as its primary Mii data format.
